PI DAY CELEBRATION 3.14.2011
HAPPY PI DAY
WELCOME TO ALL
An exhibition on the pi day is being organized in the Platinum Jubilee Building of Annamalai University. The event includes two competitions, one programming event and poster presentations. The details of the competitions are as follows:
MEMCHECK
(1)The participants will be provided with a sheet containing the value of pi for limited period of time. (2)They have to memorize as much value as they can .
(3)After this a mem check sheet will be provided in which participants have to write the values of pi.
THINK CREATE ENJOY
This competition has been organized for bringing the ideas of individuals in-front of everyone. The smallest ideas can grow up to be the key of biggest change throughout the world. Participants have just to write their ideas with their name and contact. Any innovative idea can be put up no matter how small or big it is. The best idea will be awarded and spread through our website with the name of the author.
CODINZ
This event is organized for the programmers for creating a C++ program to calculate the value of pi upto the maximum number of digits. The program which succeeds in giving the output to the most number of digits will be awarded.
POSTER EXHIBISION
Charts and posters will be displayed which consists of a lot of information about the most mystifying mathematical term PI.
Its just a small effort to pay our tribute to π which has helped us in every field, making us reach the epic of the technology.

PI EQUALS FOUR!
During my research on pi I reached to a result that is not only stunning but it is challenging for me and the entire mathematics lover all around the world. If my research got true than whole science might get wrong and if we apply that to our life it no more exists in future in the way it is with us from the past millions of year. It will result in complete deformation of the universe.
A quest some fear and thrill of challenge with boost up strength to know that research would have filled in all of you who love creativity, desire a whole new world with full of truth which lead a higher level of future for the associated fellow.
Once Srinivasa Ramanujan had proved 1=2, it is like that only This result has created a big debate and lots of wondering to all who got to know this. Many person knows about it but they doesn't know how it has been done. Pi Day is a holiday commemorating the mathematical constant π (pi). Pi Day is celebrated on March 14 (or 3/14 in month/day date format), since 3, 1 and 4 are the three most significant digits of π in the decimal form. If a 24-hour clock is used, the Pi Second occurs just once yearly, on March 14 at 01:59:26.

14 of march is celebrated as Pi Day all around the world.
I love pi and celebrate pi day. I wish it should be celebrated as enthusiastically and massively as we used to celebrate the friendship day, valentine day ......or many such days.
Those who have used pi for solving problems they will surely celebrate the pi day. you can celebrate pi day by sending messages or updating your status or uploading photo of pi or either you can find some new ways to do this.
